I used cilantro leaves instead, and it actually tasted really good

No it didn't and you're a faggot.
>>9285407
Not surpised, glad you like it. The soul of a BLT is in-season fresh tomatoes. The green and animal bits are secondary at best.

>The soul of a BLT is in-season fresh tomatoes.
Are you retarded? The bacon is the soul of a BLT. Without it, it's just rabbit food.
>>9285433
The bacon 8s there to salt the tomatoes
>>9285440
No. The bacon is the protein. Normal people (read non vegans/vegetarians) build sanwhiches based on an initial protein, or sometimes multiple proteins, most often meat. In the case of a PB&J, it's be the PB, etc.
t. Anyone that's ever had a sandwich and isn't retarded
>>9285440
The tomatoes and lettuce give a crunch to the sandwich. It also blends with the bacon. That's it. The bread is second. Tomatoes third.

you mean an LGBT, right?

That's what I'm talking about.

Am I the only one who hates tomatoes on sandwiches? I usually make chicken, lettace and bacon wraps w/miracle whip in place of blts
>>9285433
You're on a cooking board and you refer to vegetables as just rabbit food?
>>9286564
What else do you call a sandwich with no protein? A BLT without bacon is essentially trash.
