The black pudding I had tasted like really salty and metallic meatloaf. Would not recommend.

> t. american
>>
>>9285047
brit here, i always insist on having black pudding with my full englishes whenever possible, i think it tastes great
it's got a sort of half grainy half crumbly texture and is very dense/filling. In terms of flavour, it's mostly quite savoury, with a hint of both saltiness and sweetness, and it's very distinctive and rich. With a normal full english "with the works" i could never eat more than two disks of it in the same way i wouldn't want to drink honey. Not to say it's sickly, but it works as a sort of "side" food to go with the rest of the ingredients.

>eggs
an attempt at a scramble. Ruined, absolutely no taste or texture left. They've just become a medium to deliver ketchup.
>Toast
zero taste white bread. Strawberry jam? not actually, just a processed food approximation.
>Hashbrowns
suspiciously shaped, there's a possibility that this was pre-cooked and frozen, and simply re-heated. The process has destroyed whatever tastes that were imparted in the original browning.
>Bacon
Ah, the good old destroyed American palate. Bacon is delicious, but so powerfully so that it really should not be served on its own. Bacon itself does not have substantive volume, and gains no benefit of being served on its own, compared to being served in something like a Pasta Carbonara.
>Zero pulp "orange juice".
Oranges, originally, pulped. Run through a bleaching and de-odorizing process which removes the color and smell. Then artificial coloring and odor is re-added to give the appearance of Orange juice. Then it was watered down and sugar was added while all physical pulp was removed. The great lies of agribusiness.

It best translates to "breakfastcake" but nobody really eats it as sole breakfast, usually it's more a snack. It's good though, especially with some butter.

It's typical dutch, although the belgians eat it too I believe.
>>

No, it was terrible. The only time in my life, when I have refused to eat a homecooked meal.

I am sure the fat rice, that is a real dish is better, though.

Basically my father just bought cheap fatty meat on sticks, that are low quality even for grilling, then dumped the meat and whatever cooked out of them over a giant bowl of rice.

Spain here. Pan con Tomate. Grated tomato with olive oil and salt. Yes, this is breakfast. And it's absolutely delicious (Chocolate con Churros is also technically breakfast, but it's usually one of those things you save for a special Sunday morning).

Next sunday morning please puke in my mouth. Better yet, I promise to do a biscuit and gravy from scratch, biscuits included, though I'll probably use crisco and butter for the biscuits instead of lard because the wife is autistic about lard.

Lest you think it's a false promise, I vowed I would make an omelette in a stainless pan to btfo of screaming teflon autists and did it (pic related).

After making it I'd rather just have an egg and cheese sandwich. This is a fun way to switch it up I guess but it probably needs like a sauce or something to top it or else it's kinda pointless. Maybe using the egg toast as the bread for a sandwich would be nifty but the center would be a mess.

I grew up knowing blood sausage as boudin. It's similar to English blood sausage - it is made with pork blood, pork meat, and often offal. But it doesn't contain oats or rice like other blood sausages.

Popular spices/herbs include: nutmeg, cinnamon, corriander, ginger, tarragon, etc... I love it, but I know a lot of folks who would rather go without eating.

this is a traditional french breakfast, known as a "petit-dejeuner" (or "little lunch"), and its just a bunch of fucking bread.

granted, it's fantastic bread, really good croissants and pain au chocolat and slices of baguette, and you get butter and honey and jam, but you're fucking LUCKY if you see a single scrap of meat all morning.
