I'm thinking of opening a herring stand in Fargo ND. Do you think it will do good business?
oh gee, no I don't think so, sweetums. >anon tries a ND accent.
Are these organic onions?

Sounds fucked but dang, follow your dreams baby!
>>9264089
it'd do better in the upper midwest than anywhere else in America
>>9264089
Nope. And how the fuck are you going to get good herring there anyway? Herring, Mackerel, and sardines go bad very very fast. Such a place would be great right next to the ocean but is going to suck hard in an inland area.

>oh gee, no I don't think so, sweetums
eh, its more be "aw jeez", also I've never heard someone say sweetums, sounds more southern than northern though

You fucking pickle it dude. Who hears 'herring' and doesn't immediately assume it is pickled?
>>9264165
Probably people who live in coastal fishing villages where herring are brought in fresh.
>>9264240
Nah, herring can be eaten fresh but the traditional preparations involve pickling or smoking. When the scandanavians settled the upper midwest they brought that tradition with them, so herring is still much more popular there than it is on the east or west coast

I have failed you anon.

definitely not southern.
