Does anyone here have a convection microwave? They sound too good to be true.

I did for awhile. It's basically just a toaster oven and a microwave in the same box. Mine also had a hybrid cooking mode but I could never figure out how to use it well.

I got one. An old one, almost 25 years old. I use it more as oven than as microwave. It's not great as oven, but it does the job.
>hybrid cooking mode
Yeah, that's shit. The microwave at lowest power still greatly outpowers the normal heating element. I wonder if anyone has ever found a use for that mode.
I have one, it's not a replacement for a toaster oven. The heating element is only 1/3 of the size of the internals, and it's only on the top. The tray that holds the food up there is so tall that it's effectively just a slow broiler.
Don't waste your money.

>589 dollars for a fucking microwave
is this a joke?

The CSO300N is a convection toaster oven that steams food as well. It only costs 300 and is fully awesome. I would recommend this over a convection microwave any day.
The one limitation is its size... but the microwave would be pretty small too.

Had one in Japan. They are in every way inferior to an oven but better than nothing.
