Do you get your groceries delivered?
Figured it was a meme but I swear to God whenever I do shop I either forget something, they don't have something/s I want or I end up buying a bunch of shit I don't need.
Considering doing it.

I've done it a bunch
Pros
>super convenient, can have everything delivered within the hour if you want or plan sometime later
>delivery people have a set checklist to go through so they're only going to get what you put on the list and it's extremely unlikely they'll forget something
>since they do this shit for a job they'll have little carts to carry stuff in, cold and hot bags to keep everything temperature appropriate and whatever else is needed
>have an app to quickly look through what the store has and it's much much easier to keep in a budget since you can see the prices and total for everything right there and adjust till satisfied
Cons
>costs a decent amount more. There's a monthly/yearly fee depending on what you use so that's like an extra $9 a month, plus there's a 10-15% addition on the total of whatever you get and you'll "need" to tip. And there's a delivery fee too on small orders which might be a problem if you want frequent small ($20) trips to get fresh stuff a lot. It's still overall cheaper than getting stuff from a Walmart, gas station, or fast food place though
>While having it all in an app is cool the app doesn't have everything. It can be missing a lot of stuff the store could have especially if it's seasonal so you'd need to specifically know the store has something in order to ask for it
>communication has it's limits. If the store doesn't have something on your list, the shopper can only really send a handful of replacement options through text so you can't just leisurely browse for something else
>also since it is someone else getting your groceries the quality will very. You might get someone grumpy who doesn't bother notifying you well or doesn't take good care of the groceries. You can always adjust their tip and rating from it but still
>you have to interact with them and possibly let someone into your house to take groceries in. How awful
Overall pretty positive, would recommend if you don't mind paying a bit more.
