It's blue dye.
The blue filters the yellow and makes it look white.

Notice that you have to /keep/ using it, as the dye keeps wearing off.

Take up smoking, the tar stains will hide the coffee stains.

I have the same problem. All you have to do is gurgle some water after you finish your coffee. It helps prevent the coffee from staining. It won't work 100% but its enough until you go see your dentist for your cleaning every 6 months.

In all seriousness if you actually want whiter teeth, get a box of these. They cost like $50 and they hurt a bit the first few times but I only needed one box and my teeth were noticeably whiter when I was done using them. Of course if you keep drinking coffee and other staining liquids you're going to have to keep whitening when your teeth turn yellow again so I don't know.
