Hi /ck/, are there any Texans/Mexicans here? I'm trying to find a real good, genuine, bean chilli recipe. Recipes, tricks, whatever are appreciated.
Thanks

Buy your chilies whole from a Latin grocery store, and get more than one kind.
I don't think Texans use beans in their chili bud
we don't have what you consider chili in México, the closest we have is frijoles rancheros or charros which is pretty close to fabada, I particulary like them with tomato, chile serrano, onion, bacon, chorizo and sausage, start with the bacon in a pan letting it fry in it's grease then the chorizo and finally the sausage, then the chile and onion and then the tomato, finally the beans, sorry if it doesn't make much sence but I don't really cook and those were the instructions I gave to my mother and now give to my gf, so they probably did a few other things, I suppose you can make this work
