Anon from yesterday who asked about cora style potatoes reporting back with results. I took anon's advice about putting them in the fridge for awhile before cooking, it really does help.
My first attempt was throwing them in the pan right after cutting and chilling them and they turned out really hard and crunchy. They werent soft at all inside except on the super thin slices. So for the next set I microwaved them for 5 minutes, then chilled them and tried again. Turned out much much better.
Also you guys are disgusted by ketchup right? Sorry about that, it was just a quick way to add flavor and im a simpleton without any other options.
Here's another round where I didnt take them off the heat before flipping them. It honestly takes awhile with a fork. My cuts were also pretty shit and im honestly not sure how they make them like clean apple slices in the restaurant considering how many shapes potatoes come in.
nice homefries

I'm that anon and I'm glad it worked out. Enjoy your taters, and ketchup is fine...fuck the haters.

I like both, but I offered the first batch to my girlfriend and shes not a fan of mayo. She's on marina's team too.
