I've got some frozen Alaska pollock filets and I want to make ratatouille with it. Do I need to defrost it or can I just throw it frozen into the sauce and let it cook?

i'd say defrost it if it has that weird frozen water on it
that water stinks when thawn
defrost it like 30-50% and then dab it so it's dry
