Why is American "cuisine" nothing more than microwaved trash, and what should be done about it?
>>9205562
>The America meme again
Real eateries exist all around the U.S., Canada and Mexico. If you go to a corporate establishment you get corporate food.
Every reasonable person knows this. Stop being jealous.
>>9205579
>Implying the average American knows the difference
Those places are dying. Millennial and a lot of the genx generations aren't eating at those places. They're for the decrepit boomers lost in impotent alzheimers ridden fairytale memories of a bygone era when these shithouse pig troughs were the only options for a high falutin' fancypants sunday-go-to-meeting sitdown "fine dining" experience. Too many other options out there now that are far beyond that garbage.
>>9205587
Well clearly OP doesn't, which confirms that their a dirty foreigner.
>>9205595
I shouldn't judge American cuisine by this place. But as a foreigner, it's amazing to see the difference in thought between the south and big cities. People were actually satisfied with the food.

Never eat anywhere they allow you to throw peanuts on the floor.
>>9205610
You're right, anon. Only people who live in NYC or LA are able to actually enjoy good food, everywhere else (especially the South) all the flyover trash can only enjoy garbage chain restaurants or casseroles with mayonnaise. Glad you're a patrician like myself who was able to recognize that Longhorn Steakhouse isn't actually a fine-dining steakhouse.

>>9205936
it's probably some new expression only hipster trash like OP uses
>>9205562
Longhorn is that chain that has prices right beneath the top steak chains, and significantly less lack of prime. But, I don't see the issue someone would take like you, OP.
But, like another poster stated your "covered in tattoos" and use of the "N" word kind of deflates your opinion in every way. I don't disparage the use of A1. It's a delicious savory classic sauce that goes back a couple of centuries and pretty craveable. If having a steak is a rare novelty for you, maybe you're more a purist or pan sauce kind of person, but if you have it often, like people of money do, it breaks up the monotony and might even trigger some lovely memories how how your family did it. I would rate Pickapeppa and Lizano, variants of A1 that use more tamarind, mango and anchovy, as preferred, but they're not as commonly found as A1.
Longhorn exists at shopping mall and mid-range hotel kinds of areas, and has pretty comfy seating which is good for the tired-after-work kind of crowd. They have a seriously good happy hour with some deals on kind of unique ideas, cheddar stuffed mushrooms, so to me, that's their only draw. I think at their price point for steaks and sides, I'd be going up or down given a choice, but it's hard to beat the atmosphere. Mine has a nice outdoor couch area for those waiting around for a table that is kind of a niche for them in comfort level.

Okay, Euroblob.

Americans should feel lucky that we Mexicans are enriching their bland flavorless food with our gorditas, tacos and enchiladas.
Look at all those colors. México is winning... flavor trumps hate.

Not sure if baiting, trolling, or just plain slack-jawed stupid.
>>9206073
Just in case you aren't trolling, tacos, burritos, etc. aren't "traditional" Mexican food. They're Mexican-American fast food creations.
Actual Mexican food is too healthy for Amerilards.
Went there one time a couple years back. Didn't know it was possible for ribeye to be so flavorless

Additionally, Hispanics and blacks are responsible for the US being so high. We'd be at European levels if it was just European-Americans.

Not strictly true, but we'd be much much closer to european levels.

Tacos predate the arrival of Europeans to the Americas m8
