Yes, they come from meat, which you'd have scraps form if you'd actually cook. A bag of carrots, stalk of celery, and bag of onions is like 6 bucks you dumb fuck. Mirepoix lasts pretty much forever in the freezer.


But what am I talking about, the literal basics of cooking, such as prepping vegetables or making stock, is seen as bourgeois because apparently nobody actually cooks on /ck/ anymore...
