When I make boxed Mac&Cheese (I haven't got real Kraft Dinner in years I usually get No Name Brand white cheddar) I use Sour cream instead of milk and butter. It's much better. Also with a bit of feta and cheese curds makes it perfect.
Though lets be honest just boil some fucking penne and make your own cheese sauce.
