A friend picked up a job there part time for spending cash and quit after 2 weeks. Said coworkers would abandon him, rush hour is pure hell etc. Told me they were understaffed as fuck so mostly it was him solo trying to bang out dishes. Don't blame the guy. I assume most people just work there temporarily but I know some stay for years. Like what's the incentive for them? Heard they give periodic raises but goddamn they can't be that much

Yeah most tend to attract a pretty diverse crowd but when the sun goes down you're odds of seeing some ghetto sponsored entertainment are high. Most wafflecasas have cops outside because late night Waffle House antics are so frequent. Seems like it's become a thing just to go for a show, that's what you get for being the only place open all night

Forgot to add I've seen some funny shit at whatburgers late too but they have a cop inside all the time overnight that settles shit down quickly. Personally never seen a brawl at waffle hut but the ones on YouTube are crazy and people eating just cheer it on, join in or don't fucking care and just try not to get hit with flying debris
