Hey /ck/ I wanted to share my idea will some of you. When I make some soup, it's way too hot and I hate waiting and burning my mouth. But regular ice cubes water it down so I added some of the meat and stock to make meat cubes that cool down and add flavor at the same time.

the meat is still going to be frozen even after the cube melts. The time you would have spent waiting for your soup to cool down is now going to be spent waiting for the frozen hunks of meat to heat up

When I make soup I just put it into the bowl a few minutes before I intend to eat it. Problem solved.
