This is probably the worst place to ask, I need to gain weight, I have high metabolism (I think) and I'm sick of people feigning concern every fucking time they see me.
What are some food to eat when you're trying to gain weight? I hate red meat and I'm poor so any answers should fit these criteria.
peanut butter, sardines work too but are pretty pricey. Just eat like 50% more of what you usually eat.

That's the thing, I did put on weight once but it took a toll on me, I had to eat when I'm not hungry, I felt like shit all the time and when I'm done eating I felt so bad I had suicidal thoughts.

According to the IN-OUT rule you just have to eat more calories than you burn...
...but it probably won't be that easy. You could start by drinking lots of sugary drinks. And snack late. Knowing people like you, nothing will probably really work well.

This could help but there are a lot of overweight people who don't exercise.
OP, start drinking milk or other beverages with more calories. But, you shouldn't force yourself to gain weight if you don't really need to. Unless you're underweight, you shouldn't worry about gaining. Just eat healthy balanced meals (with enough protein and fat) until you feel full.
