The Goo Goo Cluster is the ORIGINAL candy bar to be made
During the 1920s and 1930s, the company advertised Goo Goo Clusters as "a nourishing lunch for a nickel."At this time, the primary nutritional concern was caloric undernourishment, especially for working-class people, and high-calorie candies were promoted as valuable and inexpensive source of food energy.
What do you think about this candy bar? Would you have it for lunch? Seems to me you could keep one of these babies in your car for emergencies

If you wanted a melted mess.
Fucking nostalgia bomb. My grandma used to give them to me when I'd visit her, but I haven't thought about them in years.
They're pretty good as I recall.

If you want emergency food why not just keep some packs of peanuts in your car? They are high in calories, don't melt in the heat, would stay fresh for long, and won't give you a sugar crash as it wears off.
