ASMR used to be the shit back then in its natal stages ~2014. The content was consistently 'better' when concerning actually inducing tingles. Now fucking everybody does ASMR, or at least tries to, without proper equipment or overproduction (ASMR Zeitgeist) of videos. Most pioneering ASMR producers now barely upload anymore, having already moved on (Heather Feather ASMR and MassageASMR). So the state of ASMR presently is either videos with shitty hollow audio or videos that feel inorganic. I kind of believe that most ASMR channels now are perpetrated by the mass influx of new viewers since 2016 not actually knowing what tingles feel like, and like you said, tfwnogf/bf scenarios (anoASMR proposed sex by viewers). I barely get tingles anymore, but I think that's my own condition, because I can't in the left side, but I can on the right side.
