It varies from thread to thread really. The biggest difference is that kids and teens don't care that much about food, prep and cooking yet. So they rather hang out on the shitposting boards /pol/, /tv/, /v/, etc.

/b/ has pretty much become a shadow of its former glory. Instead of "randomness" you can almost always count on your inevitable porn and gore threads. Other than that, there's not much else going on there anymore. It almost feels like /b/ is not the most active board on 4chan anymore.

Most of the so-called "US-Europe" trolling is really just people shitting on junk food. The people here who legitimately think that this is one of the worst boards must not visit many others. /ck/ is pretty comfy, even the shitposting isn't too obnoxious or intrusive.
