Can i tell the difference between a sour and a sweet pineapple without tasting it?

Pull a leaf, if it plucks easy, it'll be sweet.

Smell it. The unripe/sour ones will barely smell, but good pineapples have a much stronger and sweeter scent.

This sounds like some momscience

Ripe fruits are softer. It's simple logic.

I can. You obviously can't.

But I have a penis.

>Smell it.
That's a good way. Also, under-ripe pineapples tend to be much firmer and greener than ripened ones. I very much recommend never purchasing organic pineapple. I buy thousands of pounds of fresh pineapple a month, and the organic ones are ALWAYS terrible and very very under-ripe.

Teaching my adult friends how to buy produce always makes me satisfied, yet sad. I wonder if they talked to their parents a lot growing up, or if they were fed well.

green is bad, golden from the top down is good, smell it's little butt-hole on the bottom, if it smells sweet and delicious, it will taste sweet and delicious. the butt-hole thing also works with cantaloupe. cantaloupe is a little different though because it can have a lot of different smells and its harder to tell. sometimes you get one that smells sweet and you get it home and it tastes almost fermented.

a lot of momscience is legitimate observed shit. even though they often cant tell you the reason why, their observations aren't always totally off base.
