Back of the line jewwy mcjewerson. Real people need to eat.
I work at a newspaper, and they delivered two gallon jugs of iced tea and a tray of cookies to the newsroom yesterday with an attached press release about free tea day. The tea was pretty shitty, and the cookies were practically nothing but butter, but at least we could all pass the press release around and get a good laugh from that.
They were expecting a free ad in the paper? For like ten dollats of product?
what a shitty giveaway. i would not even go to the effort of stopping in if i lived next door.
Is McAllister's tea a meme?

One thing you learn pretty quick when you work in media is that companies do shit like this all the time, and it's never the companies you'd expect. A couple years ago, Morton Salt sent us a 1 1/2-foot tall facsimile of a Morton Salt container with T-shirts and a collapsible umbrella inside to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their umbrella girl mascot or some shit.
