I just made a loaf of marbled (with coffee berry flour this time) whole wheat bread for myself, because it's difficult to get good crumb with rye without adding white flour, and it has me wondering:
Do any jurisdictions have regulations about the rye content of marbled bread for sale?

I've never seen that kind of bread in my life, even though half the bread here is rye.

Where do you live? Maybe it's mostly a Jewish-American thing and hasn't spread elsewhere? I don't remember seeing or not seeing marbled bread during my Schengen trips.

Not who you were replying to, but I've never seen a marbled bread like that in Austria either. It's usually just mixed grain.
Mohnstrudel looks like that, but that's a pastry and the black parts are ground and sweetened poppy seeds.
Never seen marbled bread, but I have seen marbled cake, with the dark bits done with cocoa powder.
Anyway, I kinda doubt there's any legislation on it anywhere.
Yeah you can spend a lot of time in jail if you aren't careful, op
Do your research
I can't tell: Is this thread a joke? Are there actually legal restrictions on rye bread in some backwards part of the world?
