Booze with your painkillers is a classic.
throw minced meat, macaroni, some onions, salt+pepper with milk/water into a pot, mix and put into an oven for an hour. Eat with ketchup

No matter how many times I see this, I'm invested and appalled through every step as I watch
As someone who has been in a similar predicament for the last 5 months, here's some 1st-hand advice
>Get someone to fix up your kitchen so everything is reachable from a sitting position
>Get a rolling desk chair
>Avoid cooking foods that need standing leverage like things that are hard to chop
>Eat more raw fruits, veggies, and nuts that you can wash while sitting at the sink but don't require cooking
>If you are gonna cook (it's probably a hassle), make it count. Say you are making lentils, make at least 1.5-2 lbs a time so you can eat it all week
>Rely on spices for flavor instead of ingredients that would otherwise need prepwork (vegetables)
i broke my wrist and just recently took the cast off, i couldnt work so i had to make my savings last and cook all my meals
>ate arroz con gandules for a solid week
it was good
but
