I had a pet chicken once, thought they were cute.

There shit is putrid and comes out like liquid oil, also killed a lost kitten in my backyard by pecking it's eyes out. When my puppy got older it kept pecking it's tail until it got pissed and grabbed the chicken by the neck and smacked it all around the backyard. Chicken couldn't move and had a broken wing and a twisted leg, put it's head on a brick and smashed it with a wine bottle. Buried it in the alley.

huh. interesting. i raised a few chickens, buff orpingtons and americaunas, amongst random breeds, and i found myself having to protect them from neighborhood cats, even when they were full grown and with roosters in their group.

each one of mine had different personalities, it was so counter-intuitive for them to be se inherently different, it was strange. i miss having chickens as pets. ;_;
