I used to use diet coke as a degreaser when I was a mechanic. It didn't get sticky, which is nice when it spills, but it also cuts through caked on grease and dust, so just give whatever it spilled on a good scrub and you saved yourself some time doing the two sperately. Smells better than most industrial degreasers.

Im on a 1600 cut and keep a pack of Coke Zero in the fridge. I generally only drink one or two on the weekend though, as I dont want cancer or diabetees

I hate sticky feeling stuff, regular soda makes my teeth feel sticky and gross. Diet is refreshing. I wish fun fruit sodas came in diet, there aren't enough options. I really enjoyed some of the mountain dew options they used to have, there was a diet watermelon and a blue raspberry flavor with strange names
