Coffee substitutes are nice when you want a coffee-like experience without the caffeine, what's your favourite?

it's called decaf what the fuck is wrong with you

Decaf still contains caffeine though, enough that it could make sleeping difficult. Caf-Lib and things like it aren't actually coffee, so they contain zero caffeine.

Can you not even read? That's not coffee, it's a drink made from chicory.

It's enough that if you have a diagnosed cardiac reason not to have caffeine, that like alcohol, you can get a little arrhythmia in a small amount. But, no, you ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT be kept awake.
Additionally, most of the studies that test caffeine content are sneaky, they order it out in restaurants, where employee carefulness is slack, using same baskets, scoops, reusing filters, unwashed carafes, etc.
If you are trying to consume hot beverages near bedtime, you should go with peppermint tea, camomile tea. I recommend mexican atole, which is like a hot pudding drink...I guess stay away from the chocolate at bedtime. I highly recommend the coco and the nuez, with a pinch of cinnamon.

Caffeine is literally the only reason to drink coffee though.

I have a cup of tea or coffee every morning but I don't want to get addicted to the stuff, also it makes sleeping difficult.

There are alternatives.
