Are there any good books I can read to learn about wine? I don't wanna google it and be advertised to or mislead.
Just drink a shitload of it and become an alcoholic, but a socially acceptable one and call yourself a "wino"

I don't trust amazon reviews and other pleb shit. I want the opinions of people here because it's totally more trustworthy.

No, don't go off Amazon. I mean go and lookup a well known wine organization and see what literature they recommend. /ck/ is going to LARP into pretending they know something when they don't know jack shit

If you want to learn about wine you need to drink a lot of different wines. Different grapes, different tregions, different treatments. Slowly you'll start to become aware of what you like and what you don't like in a wine.

Asking about wine in /ck/ is fucking stupid tho.
Just look what sommeliers education uses and go from there, Windows on the World is one.
But if you have some time on your hands you could just get yourself a level one course at WSET or something.
