I never realized how much I've wanted to do this until your post.

If I'm just at home on my own I just get around in a pair of underpants, sometimes socks if the tiles are cold.

I've fucked up a lot of clothes.

I've since tried to use aprons. Some are cottony flimsy pieces of shit, some go past my knees and are made of thick nylon. Different task, different apron.

I've noticed though that the "halter neck" aprons give me neck/shoulder pain, and it's kind of hard to find aprons with individual shoulder straps. I have a few, but I'm wearing them to death.

Yeah, I have my aprons and jacket from when I worked in kitchens, so I do wear those at home. If you cook everyday, it nicer to not ruin your clothes.
