How do you cu/ck/s mash potatoes?
I skin my spuds and cut them into small chunks and steam them in a metal colander over a pot. I then mash them with some butter, milk and seasonings (just a lil salt if I'm using gravey).

Smash 'em. Boil, keep the skins, add butter, salt, pepper and brute force them into a lumpy and uninspired but delicious mess

I soak mine overnight for that light, fluffy consistently.
Slice. Boil. Mash. Milk. Butter. Garlic. Smoked cheese. Salt. Pepper. Mix. Done.
>Cut tators up into quarters
>Boil
>Drain them, dry them
>Throw in a pot on low heat to dry a bit more
>Add butter/cream/any flavorings, mash it in
That's it, nothing fancy. I don't skin my potatoes, I prefer the texture of skin and some small potato chunks in there.
