Dude. Come out to the boroughs, yes it's a longer commute on the subway but rent is cheaper (and so is the food). I live way out in Brooklyn but my 1br apartment is less than 1100 a month so it's worth it.

An extra 30 minutes on the train sounds like a small price to pay for getting rid of a filthy fatass roommate.
