Can you tell me about a frying pan that has done right by you? So many options I don't know what I want. Nonstick and easy to clean is most important.

just make sure it's nice n hot.
I like a tfal. Anti-Warp if you've got a shitty electric range. I'm sure you can buy a better pan but also that you can't buy a better pan at any of the grocery stores I use.

Nonstick pans have never done right by me.
Get yourself a cast iron and learn to season it properly.

I have a tfal as well, pretty good. Maybe try looking into getting a nonstick that's also oven safe.
I bought a little cast iron pan with a wooden handle at a junk shop for $2
Cleaned it up, seasoned it and it served me for years, both kitchen and campfire. Steaks, lamb chops, sautéed veg, bacon and eggs, shakshuka. It's gone missing though.
I picked up one of these cheap Flonal pans on a whim and I fucking love it.
Doesn't scratch (unless you're an idiot), is super nonstick, and cleans up with a single swipe of the sponge.
Of course, nonstick pans aren't for everything...

Since I was a wee lad... ... ok, drunk 17 year old... working in a kitchen, I've made sure to have:
- a medium sized teflon frying pan
- a large, deep, lid-able teflon skillet
- a large-ish flat bottom wok
- a cast iron skillet
- a stainless steel frying pan.
I got the wok (ss), skillet and stainless frying pan for my 17th birthday.
The teflon guys were under $50 each, and seemed to last me about 3 years under heavy home use. The ones I bought this year are more expensive, so hopefully I'll get 5-10 out of them.
