What are the best options for nutritionally complete meal replacement powders?
I currently drink this for lunch errday but it's not affordable imho and it tastes like crap.
Also there's Soylent, which everyone knows about but it's not economical either.
Well the one you take now is slightly better than Soylent at least, since Soylent is just ground up oat and protein powder with a multivitamin crushed into it

i read that the young geeks who work at silicon valley startups consume this stuff because their time is so valuable they cannot take a break from coding to eat. They keep a minifridge full of meal replacement liquid and straws right next to their desks.

...Then why do you do it?
Eat food, it's good.
Comprehensive meal replacement powders are generally medical goods that are going to be cost-prohibitive without a prescription.

Helps with dieting.
Also, I drink soylent because I'm sick of wasting like 20 fucking minutes every lunch in line. It's also relatively cheaper.
I'm literally so lazy I turned my meals into beverages to get them out of the way faster. I do get some fried chicken every now and then though.

The whole point of liquid meal replacements is to cram as many calories in as physically possible while maintaining appropriate macro nutrient ratios
In what way are they at all helpful for dieting? Medically these things are used to GAIN weight.

>Portioned to a specific amount of calories so you can count them easily, no ambiguity when it comes to serving size
>Soylent comes in plastic bottles in a ready to drink form so I dont need to chop up a fucking salad or bring dressing or some shit
>No need to prepare your meals beforehand saves you time which is nice for many reasons
>Keeps in the fridge for long periods
Half the reasons it's so fucking annoying to diet is because you need to constantly fucking buy vegetables that go bad if you dont eat them quickly
Soylent is perfect for lazy dieting
