Hi /CK/
These tasty little fuckers are hanging out on my feeder. any thoughts?
NO
LEAVE THEM ALONE
Why are you eating bird seed anon
>>8911064
I've eaten them before. They taste good, but there's very little meat on them. (yes, it was legal--in my area that kind of dove is considered a pest animal)
>>8911064
pretty sure those are a threatened species
they are literally just squab, you can make any squab recipe with them
>>8911098
I'm not even OP but I'm gonna go kill a bird right now just for you :^)
>>8911109
Lol if by "threatened" you mean "overrunning the skies by the millions in the American south" then yes.
>>8911111
A squab is specifically a young pigeon that hasn't flown yet. That bird has clearly fully fledged & is capable of flight.

Apparently you're wrong because I got quints
>wanting a wimpy morning dove
>not trying to go for the juicy crows
>>8911111
Quints confirm I shall eat some morning dove
>the bird of peace is now the bird of delicious
>>8911109
They're supposed to be but no one has counted in a while.
They're common. But still not legal to harass.

>but still not legal to harass
The state of California, the most liberal of the lower 48, respectfully disagrees with you
>>8911064
OP is a house cat.
>>8911064
You should go for a cardinal instead, they're total assholes to the other birds that eat at my house
>>8911114
Try to make sure it's a "blackbird" and post your OC.
>>8911114
edgy
>>8911107
>worrying about what the government tells you you can or can't eat
