Elbow Mac, leftover jarred tomato sauce, kielbasa from the freezer, green can cheese.
Would this qualify as bachelor chow?
It qualifies as sad...
yeah looks relatable

>green can cheese
you know, people shit on this stuff all the time but I honestly think it has its place as a convenience seasoning, even if it's not 100% real imported grated-from-the-wheel parmigiano reggiano
I don't even need to see the rest of the table to know that's one of those cheap $10 folding tables from Walmart
I'd eat it (I eat high- and lowbrow).
~25 years ago, public elementary school served something similar––either elbow mac or spaghetti noodles––with buttered Texas Toast. This was one of favorite school meals.

Back in my bachelor chow days the generic shit would cost me 2.50 usd and I would get three weeks of lunches from it. It really stretches cheap food.
I hope you atleast added garlic and some seasoning to the jarred tomato sauce, or was it a jarred pasta sauce with seasoning already? If so that would be fine, although personally I prefer kielbasa with sauerkraut myself.

Sawdust Parmesan also works well for making a cheese sauce. Make a quick roux, add in some milk or half-n-half, dump in sawdust parmesan and let it simmer, stirring it in, finish with some extra salt to taste, a splash of white wine vinegar or lemon juice, and a pinch of cayenne. Makes a good inexpensive base for a parmesan sauce, without having to use a lot of more expensive versions of the cheese, is good for tossing with leftover or excess noodles and pasta.

Yeah I remember similar school meals, pretty good. Also texas toast reminds me of another good poorfag use of sawdust parm; butter the fuck out of some sliced bread, sprinkle sawdust liberally, sprinkle some garlic powder to taste, and pop that in a toaster over for some quick as fuck poorfag garlic bread.
Good stuff OP. Only issue I have is kielbasa in the freezer but I'm assuming you just bought a bunch in bulk.
