Yes.

Carpaccio is nice from time to time.
>>

How to even tell if raw meat will not give you diseases?
>>
>>8870220
Not really raw, but had this Viet dish with acid cooked beef served cold, really spot on.

No, the very idea of eating that thing in your op pic makes me feel like im at my fraternity raising all over again.

only way i'd eat raw ground beef is if i witnessed the butcher grind it at the store. i'm sure it's great, though. i'd mix it in with some raw onion, raw garlic. would be good times i'm sure.

you can never tell. hell, your cutting board is probably harboring ten different bacteria that are actively trying to kill you.

Not unless I'm ordering it in a restaurant.

I have eaten Gored Gored, which is cubed raw beef, left unmarinated. From Ethiopia.

"raw" is rarely safe (fish being an exception only because of the higher default salt content), "uncooked" is ok because technically cured meats don't have to be cooked, just salted enough to kill whatever's in it. Screwing around with the pH can have the same effect, but unmanipulated meat is basically guaranteed to have something living in it.
>>
Raw fish as sashimi and raw ground pork as mett.
Both are okay if prepared correctly.

I've never gotten sick from eating carpaccio or steak tartare from a restaurant.
>>
>>8870220
Tried steak tartare while in France.

I was so jetlagged that my appetite was zapped for the first four days of my trip (first time flying transcontinental)

It wasn't bad, wasn't great. Only way I can compare my experience, is to eating a piece of bread and just that piece of bread.

It tastes as you expect. Raw meat. Not bad, not great, just what it is.
