I love the spicy deliciousness of salsa but hate the high carbs from chips!
Any ideas on what I should do?
One time I mixed guacamole and salsa together and just ate it with a spoon but I don't think I'll ever be trying that again
Eat a smaller dinner.
Try jicama or cucumber slices
nothing wrong with carbloading. just be sure mom says you can open the salsa before she gets home ;)
make spicy veggie bean chili instead. core ingredients are lentils, pinto beans, and carrots.

I did keto for about 6 months and when I was craving salsa I just slurped down a spoonful or two and it would hit the spot. If you really need a vehicle for your salsa it's actually pretty good on pork rinds. Scrambled eggs too, both of which are low carb

How did it go for you? Considering taking it up.

Everything went better than expected. Go for it, friend. The mental benefits are equal to the physical. Helped my anxiety big time and the self confidence from losing weight is like a drug, changes your life
Keto. Not for everyone but works best for those who:
>are obese, need to lose a lot of weight
>have money
>like to cook and explore/create new recipes
>are not helplessly addicted to sugar (unless you're ready to go cold turkey)
>have discipline. It's still a diet and can be difficult to stick to even though many say it's easy
Happy 420 to all

Here's a current before/after that I just took. After 6 months I eased off of keto into low carb (50-100 grams a day) and more cardio. Lost about 80 lbs. so far
Eggs.

Those are insane results, good work! I'm gonna do it, I'm technically not obese (230 6'3") but I'm pretty dang close. Here's hoping it works as well. Thanks for the encouragement, anon.
