What is your go to sandwich? To me whole wheat with turkey, tomatoes, spinach and yellow bells are the business.
Toast sandwich. Nothing like the satisfying crunch of a slice of toast between two slices of well-seasoned bread.
>spread mayonnaise on bread
>put bread on pan, mayonnaise side down
>put slice of cheese on bread
>sprinkle shredded cheese
>add minced onions and black pepper
>place another bread with mayonnaise on top
>cook like a grilled cheese
>dip in spaghetti sauce

Grilled cheese or turkey and mustard for quick sandwiches. Turkey, cheese, lettuce, and a little mayo if I'm feeling fancy.

Fried egg with mayonnaise and lettuce. Eggs cooked easy, bread either great quality bakery bread or shitty supermarket white bread, no in between

Just a slice of whole grain with mayo and bologna.

do americans really do this?
speck, brie, robiola and tomatoes
A good sharp cheddar and cucumber if I'm just being a boring cunt. Bread is just whatever I've got in the house be it baked or store-bought.
Honey Oat bread, turkey, corn flakes, and cherry jelly.
Fried egg and bacon that has been cooked in butter and brown sugar
Tuna salad on soft giant kaiser roll.
Tuna salad is really simple tuna+celery+red or white onion+green onion+spices and lemon. Then I slice up some thin avocado to put on the bottom, a nice layer of tuna salad, then some sliced pickles on top. If I have cheese I'll use whatever but that's the basic sandwich I have most of the time.
