Is stew meat acceptable to use for kebabs? If so, are there any things I would do differently since it's pieces are slightly smaller than how I would traditionally cut it?

Use lamb.
>>
>>8816722
Probably going to be tough.
>>
>>8816728
I'm not sure I can access non-frozen lamb where I live.
>>
>>8816722
Of course it is, what makes you think kebabs are so special that they're too good to have stew meat? Get that fucktarded way of thinking out of your head!
>>
Yeah man, what you got, some hip stew? Should be good. A little tougher than some others butll taste fine. Nothing special about sticking em on the kebabs. If they are really small, maybe go perpendicular to the grain, incase a piece falls apart.

I'm incredibly novice when it comes to cuts, and wasn't sure if stew meat uses a certain muscle that would be unsuitable for kebabs or something to that nature. Should I marinade? How long on the grill/what internal temp?
>>
>>8816722
You should marinate it, it'll be quite tough otherwise
>>
>>8816722
That looks like nice watermelon
>>
>>8816732
What's wrong with frozen lamb?
>>
>>8816757
Nothing really, but I live in the heart of the midwest so good cheap beef is abundant.
>>
>>8816722
Filet mignon or sirloin are your best bet for kebabs

Okay, I see your point, some pieces of meat, like the corpora cavernosa, would indeed not work out at all for kebabs.
>>
you live in the heart of farm country and you can't find fucking lamb?
>>
>>8816722
The more rare you can leave em, the less tough theyll be, but they're a fine kebab meat
>>
>>8817031
They'll be overcooked by the time the vegetables are done.

LAMB

B
>>
Anything is acceptable for kebabs, even rat meat pass alright.
>>
>>8817063
lamb cooks basically the same as beef, i love lamb and agree with you, but obviously op has some beef to use up or something

also, just cut your veggies smaller than your meat unless you're retarded, or steam them first

>>8816744
marinate it for sure, but make sure to pat it off before grilling or it'll burn
>>
>>8817133
Ummm, I'm pretty sure pork isn't. In fact, I believe it's absolutely forbidden.
