Those strains are pretty much nonexistent in commercial pigs at this point.
You still run the risk of getting trichinosis from wild game and possibly home-raised pigs, but the risk is very low.

Recently moved to Spain, home of the best pork in the world (Pata negra), and people here eat it rare. It's fucking amazing. Never eating beef again
150 internal temp is fine and its essentially sterile at that point, just be sure to temp close to the bone its a perfect texture at that point in my opinion.
I also sous vide my pork chops at 141 for about 4 hours (any longer and the protiens break down too much) anything inside the sous vide bag is sterile after that temp.
