cheescake is god-tier dessert.

anything chocolate is dreg-tier

every other sweet is middle-tier dessert. disagree? prepare to die
>>
>>8757562
i disagree
>>
Why can't you capitalize your sentences or end them with punctuation marks? Is it because you haven't gotten that far in school? Is that why you like desserts so much and make stupid statements about them?
>>
>>8757562
Disagree about everything except cheesecake being god tier.
>>
>>8757574
i clearly don't care about desserts as i dismissed them all except for cheescake, and there are a lot of them. i guess you don't have very good reading comprehension. you seem feeble-minded
>>
>>8757562
OP, just because you love the flavor of cuckcheese doesn't mean we all do.

Fruit Tarts are obviously God Tier.
>>
I see where you're coming from but you're leaving out the egg and custard based desserts, which all have high fat and protein ratios which makes them very versatile and complementary with cream cheese

Add them on the high tier and we can be friends
>>
>>8757595
gayest thing ive read on here
>>
Cheesecake is amazing but is frustrating to make properly, especially if you don't have (two) pans that most people don't have.

As for me, desserts based on pastry cream are awesome.
>>
>>8757603
Not him, but tarts are great.
>>
>>8757620
Are you gay

You are what you eat, and he apparently eats "fruit tarts"...
>>
>>8757623
No. In what reality are tarts gay? It's not this one.
>>
>>8757562
I like Chocolate Cheesecake.
>>
>>8757639
shit, you found a paradox in my hierarchy. i will now do the honorable thing and fall on my sword
>>
>>8757624
Oh baby
>>
>>8757624
The only thing more satisfying than torching the top is cracking that perfectly caramelized shell
>>
>>8757619
What other pan do you need besides a springform?
>>
>>8758008
You need a pan for the water bath.
>>
I came eating cheese cake once.

What are the best recipes for a cheesecake? I like the Foodwishes New York cheesecake.
>>
>>8758008
am i the only one here that doesnt use a springform pan in making cheesecakes?
>>
>>8759513
I just use a standard pie pan and have never had an issue with it sticking. I'll be damned if I'm going to buy a unitasker for a cheesecake that I make 2 or 3 times a year.
>>
Lemon cheesecake is the best cheesecake.
>>
Is there a name for a light, less sweet cheesecake?

Cheesecake is good, but when its too dense, or is normal but way to sweet (aka: almost every kind of cheesecake they sell at stores/restaurants) I just hate it.

I want a light, hint of sweet, cheeeecake. And I could make my own, but its so time consuming.
>>
>>8758168
From it, or coincidentally?
>>
>>8759471
I used martha stewart's recipe for new york cheesecake, except I used yuzu instead of lemons. it turned out great.

These guys get it.
>>
>>8759746
Crème brûlée is nice enough, but it's just vanilla flavoured custard.
It's major weakness is that it isn't cheescake.
>>
>>8759787
BUT WHAT IF WE...
made it INTO a cheesecake?
>>
>>8759790
I'd buy that for a dollar.
