Does anyone else burn their popcorn on purpose? I don't mean like super burnt, just enough that the remnants of the shell get black and crispy. I started doing it a couple years ago after accidentally burning it once and never looked back. It adds a cool flavor, you don't get shell caught in your teeth anymore because it becomes so fragile, and even the unpopped kernels at the bottom can be eaten if they're black enough. I usually just wait til it's stopped popping, then leave it in an extra 20-30 seconds.

I do Anon. Just imagine ingesting small bits of a sweet and salty buttery goodness and then all of a sudden, bam! Burnt kernels tasting like char and smoke.
It almost ruins the entire bowl of popcorn.

See, to me your description sounded mouth watering.
A hint of burn on popcorn is quite tasty, I find.
I don't like it burnt, but I tend to overdo it because biting down on a rock hard kernel is my pet peeve

>Eating popcorn
All the time, op. That's the way to go
Nope.
>there are people posting on CK RIGHT NOW that don't like the bag when they're done with the microwave popcorn
mah nigga
>buying popcorn bags
Why? I just pick up some dirt cheap popcorn from some polack store and nuke it for half a minute in a large tupperware box with the lid on (not sealed).

I did that when I was in, like, middle school. I'd disassemble the bag, rip it into strips, lick every inch of that motherfucker.
But really that's way too much work for cheap butter flavoring and some salt.

This. Enjoy your popcorn lung, too.

I like the bag just fine. It did a great job, holding the popcorn and everything. What's not to like?

>you don't get shell caught in your teeth
Say no more senpai. Gotta try it.

Not OP but you won't get popcorn lung from eating burnt popcorn, it's from inhaling Diacetyl.

Yes but it's hard to find the right balance sometimes
