Name one (1) reason why Onions aren't magic
Why the fuck is this image mirrored?
Are there not enough pictures of piles of onions that we need this?
A quick google search has proven that we indeed have many pictures of piles of onions so why do we need this mirrored image to pretend there are more onions than there actually are?
WHY?

Tell us about what forms and colors the food has you can eat.
I used to love eating raw onions.
However, one day I came across the opinion that the whole Allium family (onions, garlic, shallots, chives etc) are actually pretty harmful to the body- google it.
I abstained from all of them for a while and when I tried them again (in small doses) I noticed that I developed the symptoms of sore guts, bad breath and gas. So, I no longer consume them.
It's a hard dietary restriction to follow because of how prevalent it is in a lot of foods/dishes, but to me it's worth it. I really did feel quite shitty before ceasing intake, and I only noticed after the fact.
As a side note, Asafoetida is a useful substitute for garlic when cooking.
