I made about 1L (1qt) and got about 56g (2oz) of dried seasoned mushrooms.

Check out jamaica's version Pickapeppa which is heavy on the tamarind and mango component (think A1 meets mango chutney), or Costa Rica's "Salsa Lizano" which has a wonderful cumin and tamarind component too, or some of the banana ketchups of asia you can sometimes get in a chinese market if it's comprehensive and tropical like that.
