I've only made gnocchi a few times before and I always just boil them and put them in tomato sauce.

Whats the best way to prepare gnocchi? I was thinking of frying them in a skillet and making a type of white sauce.

I deep fried some fresh gnocchi I made at my restaurant and was disappointed when this didn't happen.
