Please tell me what to with this. For what recipe is it a necessary ingredient? Or famous for? Should I make fried noodles with it? It seems to be too strong flavoured and weirdly flowery to use it as a substitute for soy sauce.

For one, I have no idea what kind of sauce that is, and your image is thumbnail sized, so it doesn't help. For the other, you then didn't mention what kinda sauce it is. So fuck off

I use mine generally for American Chinese dishes (Green bean chicken, beijing beef, prok stir fry) or Chiles Toreados (Pan fried jalapenos with lime, soy sauce and oyster sauce)

Thanks for pointing that out. It's important. Chinese black vinegar and that thick-and-sweet Indonesian soy sauce come in nearly identical bottles.
Pretty much the only use I know of for oyster sauce is to use it in finishing stir-fries.

Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, a bit of fish sauce and some chili sauce together for a really tasty asian sauce. Works Well with noodles or Rice (remember vegetables)
