This.

This fatass girl I know always complains about how her foot has issues. It's because she's putting so much pressure on it from walking around while being fat. Doc told her to diet, cut out soft drinks. She swears she only drinks water, but ever time I see her, she's downing a few cans of coke.

I'd fuck her if she wasn't my friend's girlfriend though, she's one of those nice submissive fat chicks with a large rack and a cute face. God damn I wanna bury myself inside her. It must feel like happy.

I would say cheese and oils. I use wayyy too much butter / olive oil when I cook and literally everything tastes better with cheese.

More importantly I need to cut out alcohol. I drink about 1.5 bottles wine / 1/2 bottle hard liquor or like 10 beers a day. I might have a problem.

All you can eat buffets. I can down 3000 kcal easily in a one.

Alcohol (excluding where it is cooked)
Sugar
Gluten (nothing stupid, but by cutting gluten you're cutting simple carbohydrates, which are bretty bad)

>>8653990
Cutting back on potatoe chips, fried shit, olive garden lvl "pasta" and soda is obviously a good idea. But going full anti-carb is tard tier. Anybody thinking about going entirely without carbohydrates should aim a gun to their head or eat some whole grain bread, oats or some rice and go exercise like somebody else is holding a gun to their head. There is nothing wrong with carbohydrates, in fact your body NEEDS carbohydrates, just not the processed garbage sugars and starches.

Also, op, if you're looking to loose weight you need to get out and exercise. Start with taking the stairs and going on walks. Go to the gym or think about training to run a 10k if you're fucking serious...

A lot of people say soda... I only drink diet soda. I don't get what makes regular soda so good. All the simple sugar I can do without. Some people are like "diet soda tastes gross " really? There is like a whole array of alternative drinks from all the sugary stuff.

>>8653717

Any drink that has calories, especially from sugar, and especially that you consume daily or nearly daily (soda especially, but beer also)

Desserts - maybe once in a while, but if you cut out daily sugar and have a piece of fruit instead, your taste buds will adjust and you won't miss anything

Look at your daily diet and see if you compulsively, regularly consume anything high in calories. Sometimes I've caught myself gaining weight, and realized that it was specifically caused by a particular thing I was eating regularly (like I was putting too many nuts in my oatmeal, or using too much butter on my bread with dinner, etc).

Most people just can't process it well, and dairy (at least in the U.S.) is not healthy at all. There are obviously worse things like pop, fast food, etc., but milk is just so commonplace, and most people would benefit from minimizing milk in their diets.

Diet soda causes your body to expect a sugar rush, as it's receiving such an indication from sweet taste receptors, leading your body to believe it's calorically deficit upon not receiving the expected sugar and thus chase calories by triggering hunger.

It essentially makes you want to eat more sugar. Not to mention the fact that it's all the bad chemicals of soda minus the most natural ingredient- the sugar.
>>

>get rid of grains

Yeah, eliminate the one food group that was exclusively responsible for the rise of every civilization. Makes sense if you're an anarcho-primitivist who thinks we can return to hunter-gatherer economies.

News flash, people weren't fat even as recently as 80 years ago unless they were extremely rich and ate shitloads of refined sugars and fats. Retard.

I'm assuming you mean the biggest positive difference. In which case it would be nothing, since I've tailored my entire diet to be nothing but have optimum health and nutrition in mind for the lowest possible cost. I consume no junk food or questionable ingredients.

Now if it was flipped for what would make the biggest negative difference if it were removed? Possibly sweet or russet potatoes considering the amount of benefit they provide.
>>
>>8656977
buy unsweetened carbonated water instead. check the ingredients. if there's anything other than carbonated water and natural flavor, don't get it.

some grocery stores sell it for insanely cheap. you can get it bottled, you can get it canned.

it hits all the right beats since it's carbonated. keep it in your house and within easy reach just like you do with soda.

coke freestyles also have carbonated water (dasani sparkling) and they're not uncommon around here (jack in the box, movie theaters, wingstops)

carbonated water is becoming more widely available and may help you a lot. it's how i continue to not drink soda.

Have you actually read a nutrition label? The caloric difference between a typical bar of dark and milk chocolate is negligible.

A better answer would be the entire mental narrative that you have 'cravings' for specific foods that need 'satisfying'. This is just an excuse people make to themselves eat things they know they shouldn't and pretend it was somehow out of their conscious control. There is nothing wrong with indulging now and then (or even regularly, in proper moderation), but lying to yourself about why you do it will set you up for failure.

Also, sugar is not calorically dense, but is by far the worst part of soda pop. Women are recommended to have no more than 25g of sugar per day, and Men around 35g. One can of pop meets this quota with ~30g of Sugar which is only ~117 kcal.

You guys already know this, but alcohol is the fucking worst. People who abuse alcohol are absolutely ruined by it.
Next is sugar. Absolute garbage. Soda, cookies, candy, pastries, ice cream, etc.
Then comes excessive carbs. Bread, pasta, rice, potatoes. And we all know that carbs usually are loaded with... fat. Or else they dont taste good.
The things that ruin us are cheap and widely available. Good food is expensive, prone to rapid spoilage, and hard to find in many situations, and also just doesn't satisfy like the shitty choices do. Its an exercise in mental toughness and self control, and in the land of depression and stress, that's a pretty tall order.

i never drank beer, so i don't know how much better/worse it is for you. don't drink bourbon 18 hours a day.
>bread, pasta, and chips
which is tragic, because bread is delicious

for the average fatty, just fast two days a week and do push-ups (every hour, if you're a NEET).

Dairy

You'll feel like a Roman god after 6 months of not eating any of that. Just don't use substitutes like artificial sweetener, that defeats the purpose for the most part.

dietary cholesterol is toxic for me. I can live without eggs/cheese etc but milk is so hard for me to give up..

I know some sources say dietary cholesterol is insignificant but I can feel inflammation if I have a substantial amount of cholesterol in a short amount of time.

why would you bother at all with life

Just get something that's made from wholemeal flour it's not that hard

You don't need to get whole wheat bread, just find a nice white one that's enriched + some fibre added like oat husks or inulin.

Switching out cows milk would probably give you a less greasy mouth feel maybe. Avoid soya if you're male.

I get strong hard cheese like a wedge of parmasen (not shredded) as it has a higher ratio of calcium per weight compared to other cheeses. It's also stronger tasting, meaning you put much less of it on pasta etc to make things tasty cheesy.

>>8660379
No they don't know what they're talking about. Maybe the mean processed foods in general, as they have higher sugar and salt.
>>
>>8657647
Why go out of your way to eat grains? What do they actually do for an individual? I don't give a fuck what was easy to grow in 1750 so society could flourish.
>>
>>8663694
They're cheap and convenient and they taste good, also carbohydrates give you an insulin spike which can be leveraged synergystically with the growth hormone spike following exercise, tl;dr they are a bodybuilder's friend (although other than as a specialized tool they're seriously overrepresented in the western diet and should really be eliminated like the cancer they are)

Also the guy you're responding to is just looking to start an argument with someone, he's doing the "everyone is stupid except me" thing. He's making a broscientist argument that grains cultivation for alcohol production caused civilization. The fact of the matter is that alcohol seeking behavior predates recorded history and all agriculture, it dates back to when our ancestors were tree-dwelling primates who gained a survival advantage by eating the fallen overripe (and therefore easy to digest but also ethanol-bearing) fruits on the forest floor. Grains are a workaround for when we no longer had access to fruits. Paleo >> all, deal with it fags.

Rather than putting Mio in it or getting that gay ass Vitamin Water, get yourself a bg jug with a nozzle on the bottom (keg style jug) and throw in a couple of mint leaves and slice up an orange, a lemon and a lime, throw it in your jug and fill with water. It makes drinking water not so boring and you can fill it up 3 times before needing to change the stuff inside (min holds about 6 liters of water and I can fill it a few times before I need to change everything out so I can keep the flavour) it's also good for you

I'm in the process of cutting fast food, what helps me most is considering the cost. A large meal at most fast food restaurants is about $8-9. The money you spend on that single, shit quality meal could have bought you enough ingredients for 2 or 3 meals at home. And much like soda, once you're off it for a week or so you start realizing how disgusting that stuff is.

I did that. I went to sonic on a whim and got a cherry vanilla coke and it tasted really syrupy. Thought they had new people who didn't know what they were doing. Well soy does act as a phytoestrogen. But thyme does too, and I fucking love thyme.
There's also anti-androgens in things like avacado and whatnot.

You'd have to go out of your way, like very hard, for any of them to cause any sort of hormonal imbalance. But some people do just that without knowing. Like that one popular old guy story with tits from a ton of soy milk.

I don't like scaremongering like that. But it is valid stuff to consider at least.
