Have you ever had genuine African cuisine? What was it like

a lot of "African Cusine" is either

-Really sweet shit to hide the taste of shit meat
-Bland shit
I really hate sweet stuff in most main meals especially with meat so I do have a bias and a lot of the """good""" food is just meat and some nice sauce

Never realised it either, must be really bad they can't gain a foothold in the restaurant businss. I'd order an African takeaway to try it, whatever it is, but none exist to try from.

Yes my neighbor is a Moroccan widow. Any time I want a nice tajine she makes one up for us in exchange for BBQ when I fire up the smoker. Habiba, nice lady. Not even memeing that's her name.

Ive had Ethiopian.
Tastes sorta like Southern US "Soul Food", but 10 times better because they use more spices than just salt and pepper.

Yeah, this is the only African food I've had as well. I always thought it had a bit of an "Indian" taste, but that's partially due to the style of eating.

And yes, it's fucking delicious.

Yeah I went to Popeyes one time and it was decent. Has nothing on any other culture's best food but it was fine.
