Yeah it is

I would eat the fuck outta that. What would you pair with it? A dry Riesling?
>>8633688
i first tried it paired with Federweisser which is like slightly fermented grape juice that isn't wine quite yet. Amazing, otherwise I'd probably do a dark smoky beer
Mumbai, Vada Pav.
Cant stand it personally but everyone here is crazy about it and its kind of the city's signature dish. Sort of like the Francesinha is of Porto.
Its basically a potato cutlet or patty which is spiced and deep fried (vada) served in bread (pav) along with your choice of chutney, masalas and even chillies as if it wasnt already spicy enough.

Disgusting. You should all just starve to death.
I'll leave it to your imagination.

Yes and its really cheap too. A vada pav costs 5 to 10 rupees on average. Thats around 20 cents or something
>>8633833
It can be spicy or not, depending on who makes it and your personal preference. Its mostly street food so you'll find a vadapav vendor every few hundred metres in Mumbai and all of them make it differently.

Damn what's next ? Carbonara pizza ? :D
>>8633586
Looks great! Good job chef!

Not from Bombay but I love vada pav. Though I didn't realize your obsession with pav till I visited. Everything goes in a pav. Samosas, eggs, pakoras, bhajji. Crazy.

>Deep fried potato in bread
It's a chip butty?
>>8637172
No its a patty (mashed and then rolled into a ball) not a whole solid potato that is deep fried. Also the mash is cooked beforehand obviously
