This worked really well for me. Of course I just threw it in the oven. I also used regular yeast not dry but it's the same shit, you can google the conversion ratio for dry to regular yeast.

The first rule of good pizza is don't put too much shit on it. Go simple. One of my favorites is tomato sauce, ham, olives and blue cheese but I guess blue cheese for a date night wouldn't be great lol.

This. Pizza is pretty easy to make but a good pizza takes a lot of practice and know how, just looking at videos and reading recipes is not really enough, to get a hang of it you really need to make a lot of pizza. There's just too much variables like your oven and other shit you need to figure out for a good pizza.

Just make something you're good at and know that it's good, or just pick something that is very easy to prepare. I would suggest following shake-a-cayenne's mushroom risotto recipe, it's fairly easy and will impress. The first time I made it, followed every instruction and it came out fantastic.

Don't try a new recipe for a date if you want to impress. Either cook something you know how to cook or give yourself at least a week and make pizza a couple of times for yourself or friends so you get the hang of it.

Fresh oregano

Sweat down the garlic and oregano
Add tomato sauce and a splash of balsamic vinegar
Add red pepper flakes, salt, pepper
Allow to reduce for 30-45 minutes
