What are you eating for supper /ck/?
Côtes-levé sauce BBQ with my special recipe rice.
Almost done!
>>8606338
How was it? Sauce looks damn good
>>8606425
Pretty good. I thought I could finish a whole one but I didnt make it.
What did you had for supper?
>>8606279
Beef Stroganoff with steamed broccoli, carrots, and califlour.
Pizza
>>8606279
A medium rare steak, with a few potatoes. That looks pretty good OP, mind sharing your rice recipe?
>>8606472
Donatos has a special with a large 2 topping for $13 so I'm goin with that
>>8606279
Tu es Quebecois? Good to see you posting something other than poutine.
>>8606468
Not at all.
I don't know how to say this in english but le bouillon à fondue that I use is this one.
I also add a few steak spices to the mix.
>>8606511
This is the thing I am talking about.
Very very tasty and with a lot of onions in it. Give rice a sweet taste. You dont cook the rice with it. When the rice is ready (boiled with water) you add the Bouillon à fondue and put the rice cooker ON for 2 minutes top.
>>8606507
I really like Poutine though, but you can't only substain on that. Plus it is too simple to present here.
>>8606492
Good deal!
>>8606517
The translation is right there lmao. Merci beaucoup!
Kimchi fried rice with [spoiler] spam
>>8606558
Boii
>>8606603
Comfy AF
>>8606658
It's pretty simple, just need gochu jang and kimchi and the other obvious stuff.
Koreans love spam and my buddy wanted some comfort food tonight so we just cooked with it.
Making marinara sauce for my date tomorrow, it's a good night to be cooking boys
>>8606279
Is it normal in America for meals to not have any vegetables?
>>8606738
Sauce starting boys
>>8606867
Oh my... that looks wonderful anon.
Makes me want to eat bruschettas.
Beef Bulgogi from the korean place a couple streets away
>>8606891
Glad you think so, it's been forever since making my sauce from scratch.
Also an excuse to drink the wine I don't use
>>8606948
Looks amazing man.
My mother and I tried cooking a pizza for the first time, went chicago style deep dish with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and onion.
Cooked it a bit too long so the crust got hard and could have used more san marzano tomatoes on top but otherwise happy for the first time trying it.
>>8607091
Right on, at least you know where to correct your mistakes for next time. It's cool you and your mom cook together too. Pay attention though, she may know something you don't.
>>8607091
Trials and errors!
I have tried things that I wasnt even able to eat.
At least yours looks good!
Will be better next time.
>>8606948
Almost done boys. It's been a good one
>>8607305
Looks good, I've always wanted to try making my own sauce, even if I fuck up I know it wont be worse than Marie's
>>8607305
Awesome anon.
>>8607091
that looks pretty damn good for making a pizza for the first time actually
>>8607384
My father was always cooking pizzas so I grew up watching him.
No idea why it took me this long to try though
Alright lads what's on the menu for tonight
>>8608951
Battered Fish with Mixed Vegetables.
It's pretty boring tonight for me desu.
>>8607091
no basil?!
>>8608956
Mmm what fish? Cod?
>>8606457
>poisoning yourself with a meme drink
Why?
>>8606279
>A FUCKING LEAF
Abandon thread lads!
first time posting rate? drink was earl grey tea. i actually cut the steak in half and ill eat it tomorrow
>>8609461
Not bad! Veggies look a little uneven and the steak maybe overdone but that's okay.
>>8606279
basic chicken breasts
roasted potatoes
bell pepper
>>8609897
Should've gone with sauteed red pepper but that looks great otherwise. Nice looking potatoes
>>8609972
Thank you family. Yeah red or even green pepper would look better visually but I only had this one. Disagree about sauteing it though, since everything else is roasted I wanted something fresh in there.
I didn't know anyone here actually cooks
Pinto beans with corn, pumpkin and carrots
Seasoned with salt, black pepper, cumin, cayenne, red pepper flakes, basl, oregano, powdered onion, powdered garlic
I think I went a little overboard with the seasoning
>>8606279
I did pork belly stir fry but i think i under cooked the pork and now i feel rough.
unironically eating a McChicken, the best fast food sandwich for me
>>8609995
Oh yikes you're absolutely right, roasted is much better, that's what I meant.
I made my girlfriend and myself spaghetti and meatballs from scratch. I thought the sauce ended up a bit sweet but she liked it so we're good. Happy cooking lads
>>8606279
I had ribs too. Cooked for 1 hour in a 350º oven, then glazed and cooked for another half hour turning once after 15 minutes. They were perfect!
>>8609897
so you're just gonna go and eat those raw bell peppers? the fuck is wrong with you
>>8610688
oh no a raw vegetable
>>8610702
not just a raw vegetable but a raw vegetable with literally nothing done to it - no olive oil, no vinegar, probably didn't put a dash of fucking salt you damn nigger
some vegetables are okay to serve raw, bell pepper is not one of them
>>8610732
Inclined to agree. I hate raw bell pepper, even the tamer, yellow variety
>>8610732
Weak genes
I do like it to dip in balsamic vinegar though
>>8610732
>some vegetables are okay to serve raw,
i see. only the vegetables you like, presumably.
>>8610780
I'm coming up blank, chuck
approx 40 cal
>>8609329
This thread is actually really comfy. op is an cool guy even if he is leaf. Other posters are cool2
>>8611432
Oh baby I like it, noodles look cooked well
>>8611456
No because tomatoes are delicious off the vine... unlike bell fucking peppers you piece of shit! Especially grape and cherry tomatoes.
>>8610732
>Americans
>>8611438
>>8611900
>>8611432
Did you have a big lunch or is Auschwitz just stingy this time of year?
>>8611936
i'm a girl btw ;; )
i don't eat a lot so that i don't get fat...feel free to judge me for that.
>>8611898
OBSESSED
>>8611999
cool but that's starvation rations
>>8610732
I agree. Bell peppers are not particularly good eaten plain. This is coming from someone who loves many raw veggies. At least drizzle some olive oil and a pinch of salt on that shit.
>>8612112
what? no. what kind of shit bell peppers do you have in your shithole country? they are supposed to be sweet, grassy and watery, with a floral aftertaste
>>8612119
try seasoning your food white boi
Some new food
>>8612189
Nice
Some veg udon stirfry
>>8612123
try not living in a dumpster
I don't need spices to cover the scent of garbage and the taste of week-old "chicken"
>>8613036
>i dont need spices for chicken
the fuck is wrong with you? season your food. learn how to cook
>>8613190
what I meant is I have access to tasty chicken, I don't have to drown it in a million Scoville to hide the cardboard taste of factory farm meat
ditto for vegetables. it makes all the difference in the world to have actual produce grown on actual land, from actual selected seed.
>>8613219
>what I meant is I have access to tasty chicken
I do, too. After I season it.
Curry tonight gents
>>8614511
Ooh la la
>>8614511
>>8614521
didn't simmer it long enough
>>8614539
Maybe not but oh my god it's so delicious. I nailed it this time. Perfect balance. Feels good.
I would've liked to thicker but we were all pretty hungry
>>8613219
Ya gotta season my man
>>8614511
oooh man I can smell it from here. did you put clams in it?
>>8614711
No clams unfortunately, would've been great
