Why isn't there anyone like RMS in the food world? Isn't it important to know what's inside the food you eat every day? I think it makes more sense because you can't easily replicate a dish just by knowing its ingredients, you need to know the techniques, tools, temperatures, etc.

So why /ck/?

Because when you run out of things to eat that don't match your armchair ideology, you can't just go "oh, well no one actually needs to do that" like the freetards do when their buggy garbage doesn't support some perfectly ordinary requirement.

I mean, you can, and then, within a few days, you grow too weak to move. Then soon after, you die.

This. Or even if you are eating meat/dairy, just a focus on responsibly sourced ingredients and not buying whatever is the cheapest. Also avoiding processed foods.

Under a plant-based diet you can still eat most foods that aren't meat or cheese

Stallman is a pedo.

What are you talking about "knowing what's inside your food". I know what's in my food because I put it there.

The food version of a Linux user it a topcater.

Food already is open source. People largely get paid for their cooking as a service, not because they copyrighted fucking burgers or whatever.
